Capacity Building of Health and ICDS system: Training of health and ICDS care givers on the Revised Childhood Diarrhea Management (DAZT) for Reducing Child Morbidity and Mortality in Madhepura and Supaul districts of Bihar state: Micro nutrient Initiative, India/ Canada
TRIOs had engaged with Micronutrient Initiative to conduct trainings for 6500 health and ICDS care givers from Madhepura and Supaul districts of Bihar on Revised Childhood Diarrhea Management.
It is expected that the trainings would help implement DAZT program for reducing child morbidity and mortality in the State.
TRIOs conducted trainings for:
- 6096 ASHA and AWW workers
- 461 ANMs and ICDS supervisors
- 232 MOs and EMOs
The training covered 93% of the health & ICDS service providers in these districts in close coordination with MI and respective departments. The program has been successfully completed in these districts.
