Research Study- Mid line Household Survey focused on health, nutrition, WASH and livelihood aspects of children and youth,. using Lot Quality Assurance Sampling (LQAS) to Assess Core Outcome Indicators on the well-being of infants, children, and youth in three states of India (Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand)-ChildFund India/International.
ChildFund International in its global strategy (2010-2015), seeks intervention for deprived, excluded and vulnerable children. Given this strategy TRIOs conducted midline study and assessing the impact programs on the lives of deprived children in the communities.
The survey mainly focused on health, nutrition, WASH and livelihood aspects related to children and youths. The survey covered in CFI’s program areas in the state of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Jharkhand. For assessing the core outcome indicators on the well-being of infants, children, and youth as well as relevant contextual or intermediate variables TRIOs used the Lot Quality Assurance Sampling (LQAS) method.
The assessment reflected ChildFund’s integrated life stage approach to child development and would use for feeding into program strategy refinements.
