Pilot Project Implementation and Support to Childhood diarrhea management at community level – Capacity Building of Care givers and Demand Generation for Revised Childhood Diarrhoea Management through the use of Zinc/ ORS (DAZT) in Dahod and Godhra districts of Gujarat- Clinton Foundation

The primary objective of caregiver activities is to promote early treatment seeking behavior for diarrhea among children under 5 years of age, by creating awareness and facilitating for desired behavior change through on the ground activities among primary and secondary caregivers and key influencer groups using direct educational and awareness activities.

TRIOs engaged a team of 7 members at the block and regional levels in Dahod and Godhra districts of Gujarat. They undertook caregiver¬†demand generation¬†¬† activities through Self Help Groups, Other women’s groups and Schools; and closely working with District Health systems.
