Study of Plastic Omniuma supported community based programme for improving knowledge and attitude of adolescents and youths on education, life skill, gender and financial inclusion related aspects in selected villages in Manesar, Haryana-Magic Bus India Foundation (MBIF)
Magic Bus works with adolescents and youth from underserved backgrounds who are most vulnerable to poverty. For the last seventeen years it has facilitated the development of adolescent into responsible adults with greater control and choice. The organization has been a pioneer in delivering Activity-Based-Curriculum programmes in India, through an innovative Sport for Development (S4D) approach. Magic Bus adopts Urie Bronfenbrenner’s Ecosystemic approach wherein together with the children, the immediate stakeholders such as parents, community, local leaders, governance systems are also involved in the process of change.
MBIF with support of Plastic Omnium has initiated a community based program on improving knowledge and attitude of adolescents and youths on education, life skill, gender and financial inclusion related aspects in selected villages in Manesar, Haryana. The program will be implemented in selected villages covering Adolescents. In addition to adolescents their parents, family members and local youths will also be engaged and covered under the program.
In order to understand the current status of various key program indicators; MBIF hired the services of TRIOs to conduct the baseline study for the C2L program. The study is being carried out using a quantitative method through CAPI based technique in sampled villages in the program area. TRIOs has trained a deployed the field team for collection of qualitative data. Based on the analysis of secondary and primary data the detailed baseline study report will be prepared by core team. The recommendations will also be made for providing inputs for developing implementation strategy and log frame.
